Helpful Facts About President Trump’s Immigration Ban

You are hearing about President Trump’s immigration ban, which not surprisingly the progressives have purposely misnamed a Muslim ban, and also about a federal judge issuing a temporary injunction against same. As usual most of what you are hearing and being told is purposely misstated and/or outright fallacious. Below I share the basic facts to help you understand what has factually taken place and to supply you with facts that will assist you in debating the minions drowning in a sea of morass and stupidity.

The court stay only affects those that were in the air when Executive Order (EO) was issued, and are stranded at an airport. This is being way over-hyped.
1) The judge’s stay only says that anyone who has already landed in the US and has a valid Visa can not be put on a flight back to wherever they flew in from. I think we can all agree that makes sense.
2) The Judge’s stay does not halt the entire immigration ban from Syria or the 7 named countries listed in the Executive Order.
3) US Immigration at foreign airports will still not board anyone from the named terror countries.
4) The US has the right to control who enters our Country. Entering the US is not an absolute right of foreigners.

I add to the aforementioned that: Somehow progressive lunatics and those who reflexively get their pink panties knotted up at the very thought of someone suggesting steps be taken to protect America and keep her citizens safe, are either unaware, or are deliberately ignoring this fact: President Trump’s Executive Order is a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. by citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen and a 120-day suspension of the U.S. refugee program. It is the opinion of sane people that the world will not end nor will the sun cease to shine subsequent to a 90-day ban and a 120-day ban.

And finally, for those who claim President Trump doesn’t have the right to ban people and/or suspend entry into the US: “Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952: “Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrant’s or impose on the entry aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

This is the same Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, that President Jimmy Carter used and Obama himself used 2011. And as Melanie Hunter reported in September 2016, Gary Bauer stated that President Theodore Roosevelt: “Teddy Roosevelt enforced the law during his presidency that prohibited immigration to the United States of anybody who believed in polygamy, promoted polygamy, or lived in a country that practiced polygamy. Hunter also noted that according to the Department of Homeland Security’s website, the Immigration Act of 1891 barred “the immigration of polygamists, persons convicted of crimes of moral turpitude, and those suffering loathsome or contagious diseases.”
