The State of Myself Address

My fellow Americans, it’s been 8 years since I recall watching a State of the Union Address. During that time I chose to spare myself the ill effects that accompany watching a Communist run his mouth about anything. Tonight will be different.

Why will tonight be different? I am actually interested to hear what the President has to say about the State of the Union after one year in office. I plan on having celebratory snacks and beverages on hand for the event, as for me it is a celebration.

Why is it a celebration?

It is a celebration because I received my W2 in the mail last week. It reflects a 43% increase in household income from the previous year, making 2017 by far my most prosperous year of employment in 37 years. This has allowed me to take care of a lot of loose ends that have been holding me back.

It was also during this past year that I started my own business. That business has brought happiness to Hundreds of people thus far as it seeks out opportunities to do more of that. Every single project that my company engages has and always will seek to give glory to God by sharing his Love with others. That is the key to its success.

It was also during this past year that I became engaged to be married. Such a thing can only be attempted by someone who is confident in future success in life. It became very clear in this past year that God has been making a provision for this household. I made it very clear to God that I have submitted to his Will regarding the establishment of the household that he has ordained. Thusly, 2017 was the happiest year of my life.

On the last night of 2017 I joined the congregation of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church in downtown Jacksonville. The message from the word that night was that in 2018 we should pray that God give us the capacity to receive his blessings. It is important to not get too wrapped up in details of what we need specifically because God knows what we need better than we do. His plans for us and his blessings are beyond our ability to imagine. Pray that we are wise and able enough to receive what it is that he has in store for us.

I finished my sales year at 139%. I have to beat those numbers by 5% in 2018. My customers indicate that everything is moving in a direction that will well exceed that. This uptick in business is all due to the Trump economy. People are spending money again. My company got an instant pay raise of 2.6 Billion Dollars under the Trump tax cuts. They are paying out bonuses, buying more delivery trucks and buying more warehouses. Having more product to sell in more places insures that I can expect to make even more money in 2018.

I also didn’t live with the anxiety that accompanies the knowledge that our President is enabling the Enemies of the United States. He is insuring their death. That’s some change you can believe in.

So in closing I would like to say that things are good and getting better.
