Hillary Clinton’s Onward Together Wouldn’t Allow Cancellation of Recurring Donation

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Chances are good that no one needs to tell you this, but just in case: do not, under any circumstances, let your credit card number fall into the hands of Bill and Hillary Clinton or any of their front groups like Onward Together. If you it does, cancel the card at once. Otherwise, you will end up like Corey Koscielniak:

Koscielniak, 29, wanted to stop his $10.48 recurring tithe to Onward Together, the [political] action organization Clinton formed after her 2016 election defeat, because the group disclosed little information on how it spent the money, he told the Seattle Times.

Sorry; you can’t do that.

“Onward Together (OT) accepts payment information, but provides no ability to alter or cancel donations once the initial donation is received,” Koscielniak wrote in his complaint to the Washington state Attorney General’s Office.

Onward Together is an opaque tax-exempt “social welfare” group. What it does with the money, other than not pay taxes on it, is anyone’s guess. Its stated purpose is to assist other progressive outfits.

Koscielniak, with help from state Attorney General Bob Ferguson, was able to use a newly implemented cancel button on the group’s website. But when the next month came, another $10.48 was withdrawn from his account, the Seattle Times said.

Not until he has seen his next bank statement will he know whether they have finally stopped helping themselves to his money.

While he didn’t take issue with Clinton personally, he told the paper that “what surprised me is, the Democratic Party is supposed to stand for other people and not be part of this larger industrial complex.”

A fool and his money are soon — and recurringly — parted.

On a tip from Chronos Z. Wonderpig.
