Larry King Foolishly Proclaims Second Amendment Exists to Protect Slavery

After all these years, antediluvian moonbat Lawrence Harvey Zeiger a.k.a. Larry King continues to spew corrosive anti-American propaganda. In a world where we are forced to take malevolent cretins from the entertainment world seriously due to their political influence, we sometimes have to turn to TMZ for news. Watch as King denounces the Constitution and the NRA for defending it, while outlandishly proclaiming that the purpose of the Second Amendment was to put down slave rebellions:

Tie anything you want to destroy to slavery, and then have at it with a sledgehammer. The same strategy has been applied to America’s greatest heroes, including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. This is easy to do when the target is not of recent vintage, since slavery was common throughout human history prior to the 20th century.

Larry King may be interested to know that the NRA was instrumental in defending the rights of blacks to defend themselves with firearms:

While African Americans were being terrorized by the Ku Klux Klan, where the Klan were sometimes aided by local law enforcement, the NRA setup charters to help train local African American communities to be able protect themselves. The most prominent case being in 1960 in Monroe, N.C. where the local National Association for the Advancement of Colored People head Robert Williams also chartered an NRA Rifle Club that successfully defended an assault on one of their leader’s homes by the KKK without casualties.

Then again, since this fact does not advance the authoritarian Left’s phony narrative, he probably would not be interested at all.
