FBI ‘Informant’ Stefan Halper Pitched Himself For Senior Position in Trump White House

The informant, Stefan Halper, was paid a total of $411,575 in 2016 and 2017 for work with the US government that included spying on the Trump campaign.
It was a lucrative business for Stefan Halper.
A new report on Monday revealed Halper pitched himself for a senior Trump admin position.
According to a new scoop from Jonathan Swan at far left Axios, Stefan Halper was pushed for a senior position in the Trump administration by Trump’s top trade advisor, Peter Navarro.
In December of 2016, President-elect Trump tapped Peter Navarro, an economic adviser to his campaign, to lead a newly formed White House National Trade Council.
Peter Navarro is a staunch Trump supporter so certainly there has to be more to this story.
Did someone from the swamp tell Navarro to recommend Stefan Halper be appointed to a senior position in Trump’s administration?

President Trump’s top trade adviser, Peter Navarro, recommended appointing Stefan Halper, an academic and suspected FBI informant on the Trump campaign, to a senior role in the Trump administration, Axios has learned.
Behind the scenes: During the presidential transition Navarro recommended Halper, among other people, for ambassador roles in Asia. A White House official said Halper visited the Eisenhower Executive Office Building last August for a meeting about China.
Context: During the transition everyone involved in Trump’s presidential campaign were asked to submit resumes for administration positions. Halper, who already knew Navarro in the context of being a China scholar and interviewing for his anti-China book and film, pitched himself for an ambassadorship in Asia, according to a source briefed on their interactions.
Navarro says he submitted Halper’s name for the Asian ambassadorship — we have not been able to confirm the country — along with around a dozen other people for roles in the region.
Carter Page, who was spied on by the Obama DOJ and FBI, published an email he received from Stefan Halper in July 2017.
Halper was still reaching out to Carter Page well into 2017.
Reporters keep asking me about my interactions with Prof. Halper.
I found all our interactions to be cordial.
Like this email I received about a year after I first met him.
He never seemed suspicious.
