Hate Crime Crisis Solved at Westfield State University

The hate crime crisis was raging out of control at Westfield State University. Then they solved the problem:

After the Massachusetts school installed 400 security cameras, the weekly rate of people reporting bias and hate crimes there dropped by a whopping 93 percent.

For insight into why the cameras have been so effective, consider the two most recent entries on the Hate Hoax List, Jerrod Moultrie and Dawn Hilton-Williams. Both were allegedly menaced by racist cops who turned out to be nothing but professional when bodycam video was reviewed.

The vast majority of the incidents last fall were racists notes slipped under students’ doors or left in mailboxes, as well as racist vandalism and racial slurs “overheard” by others.

Maybe the multitudinous racists are too cowed by the cameras to indulge in notes and slurs. More likely, video would reveal this phantom army of racists not to exist.

It’s unknown whether all of the allegations were legitimate bias incidents or hate crimes — or if some were hoaxes perpetrated to advance a narrative.

To put it more accurately, it is unknown how many were hoaxes. A good guess would be all of them.
