New Book on Marxist Education for K-12 Teachers

America’s enemies have weapons that pose a far more immediate and existential threat than the nuclear missiles being developed in North Korea and Iran. An example is a new book on imposing Marxist education by a professor who trains K-12 teachers:

A Marxist Education: Learning to Change the World will be published on June 5 by Haymarket Books, and is authored by Wayne Au, a long-time social justice educator who teaches classes in the [University of Washington]-Bothell School of Educational Studies.

The forthcoming book—a preview of which was reviewed by Campus Reform—frames the adoption of Marxist and socialist values as a much-needed strategy for educators to help students resist capitalism, white men, the U.S. President, and much more.

Au explicitly calls for teachers to “build upon … radical momentum by helping their students explore and consider Marxist ideas.” He encourages new curricula that do not serve “the interests of capital as well as white men in universities.” If there is one thing that kids will know by the time they get out of third grade, it is that anything associated with white men is racist, sexist, and bad.

Say good-bye to the 3 R’s and objective science, hello to relentless, corrosive political indoctrination.

The blood that has been shed for generations to secure American freedom with be for naught in the end if Marxists are able to use state education to create a generation of brainwashed collectivists. You can see why Bill Ayers gave up terrorism in favor of becoming an influential education professor.
