James Woods Dropped by Agent for Countermoonbattery

There are multiple reasons for Hollywood’s homogeneous moonbattery. Those who make a living selling make-believe will be more drawn to an ideology based on utopian theories than one based on what actually works given mankind’s imperfect nature. The entertainment industry tends to draw degenerates, and liberalism venerates degeneracy. Then there is the Long March Through the Institutions; the communist infiltration that began generations ago has successfully subverted the movie industry. Nowadays the most compelling reason is that if you deviate from standard leftist ideology, you will be punished — even if you are a major star likes James Woods, who has been dumped by his agent for his conservative views:

Kaplan obviously meant “patriotic” in the Orwellian sense. He probably got triggered by all the flags yesterday and let off some steam by lashing out at a patriot.

At this point, Woods has limited use for an agent anyway.

While Kaplan did not explicitly say in the email that his decision to sever ties was over Woods’ personal politics, it does come after the 71-year-old actor revealed last October that he was retiring because he was “blacklisted” from Hollywood due to his conservative views.

Arguably the best thing on TV these days is TCM’s Noir Alley, with shows classics from the 40s and 50s. Unfortunately, the host Eddie Muller almost invariably shoehorns his leftist politics into discussion of the movies, frequently bleating about how communists who wanted to overthrow the American government and enslave the American people were oppressed by blacklisting. Good thing his specialty is old movies; it will be easy to avoid mentioning James Woods.
