Hush Money Déjà Vu

While the media pumps itself to the brink of orgasm over Michael Cohen having paid porn stars to keep their relationships with Trump to themselves, let’s have a look back at the Obama days — when the Moonbat Messiah’s proclaimed mentor Reverend Jeremiah Wright announced that he had been offered $150,000 in hush money to stop screaming about how much he hates America until Obama was safely in power. The offer came “from one of Barack’s closest friends.”

Wright says he met secretly with Obama himself…

“And one of the first things Barack said was, ‘I really wish you wouldn’t do any more public speaking until after the November election.’ He knew I had some speaking engagements lined up, and he said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak. It’s gonna hurt the campaign if you do that.’”

If Reverend Wrong is to be taken at his word, he was offered a bribe to keep his mouth shut. This would be a close corollary to the payments made to Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels. The Washington Post states without qualification that these “payments involved felony violations of campaign finance law.”

Yet for some mysterious reason there was no massive multi-$million investigation dominating the news every night over Wright’s allegations.

You could almost imagine that there is one set of rules for people the liberal establishment loves and another for people it hates.
