Westminster vehicular jihad “not an act of terror”

Madness. Utter madness.

They will assign any and every libelous, defamatory, dishonest motive (racism!) to anyone who dares to criticize this homicidal ideology but never will they question the genocidal ideology itself. Perhaps the police should read the Koran and study the life of Mohammed.

Islamic military armies like Al Qaeda and Islamic State have long urged Muslims to carry out lone acts of jihad advising operational Muslims not to communicate on apps etc for fear of getting caught.

He had circled the area for 90 minutes before he veered off the road, raising suspicions he could have been on a reconnaissance mission and was spooked into taking action when he saw flashing blue lights.

The car travelled to London from Birmingham on Monday night and spent the time between around 1.25am and 5.55am in the Tottenham Court Road area, before moving to Westminster and Whitehall at about 6am. It remained there before the incident an hour and 40 minutes later, police said.

The alleged Westminster terrorist who stalked the streets of London for almost six hours was being followed by an ambulance with its sirens blaring just seconds before ploughing into 15 cyclists.

Two addresses in the Sparkhill area were searched on Tuesday in connection with the incident. Police said on Wednesday that a third address in Birmingham where Khater is thought to have lived most recentlywas also being searched. (UK Day News)

• He could still be charged with attempted murder or other serious crimes

The Westminster terror suspect may not be a terrorist after all as police can’t find any evidence of political or religious motives.

Salih Khater, 29, was arrested on Tuesday after his Ford Fiesta Zetec rammed into pedestrians and cyclists outside the Houses of Parliament.

Three people were injured including two who needed hospital treatment but have since been released.

Detectives secured more time, until Monday, to hold the British citizen and former Sudanese refugee but his motives for the incident were still unclear.

Investigators have not uncovered any evidence he was radicalised to extremist Islam or motivated to commit terror, senior Whitehall sources told the Independent.

Scotland Yard counter terrorism officers and U.S. diplomatic sources who liaise with British intelligence also confirmed there was no evidence or terrorism.

Terrorist links could still emerge but that was looking increasingly unlikely as interrogation and searches of his background and possessions found nothing.

hater could still be charged with serious non-terrorism crimes including attempted murder regardless of his motivations.

His family fled war-torn Darfur in South Sudan, but there was nothing to suggest they had any links to the various warring Islamist groups there.

He also spent time in Libya before seeking asylum in Britain, but that was well before the revolution that toppled dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Khater lived 10 minutes down the road in Birmingham from Khalid Masood, who killed five people and injured 50 in a terrorist attack on Westminster last year.

However, there was nothing linking the pair and there was no suggestion Khater’s actions were a copycat of Masood’s car and knife attack.

Masood explicitly cited jihad as his motive for his attack in a WhatsApp message but there was nothing in any of Khater’s communications to suggest extremist ideology.
