Deutch tries to guilt Americans over Trump’s refugee cap

It’s true that America is made up of immigrants, and that we would not exist as a nation, if not for those very same immigrants.

Most Americans want legal immigration reform, but Democrats like Rep. Ted Deutch are hell bent on passing legislation benefitting and condoning illegal immigration.

This has been the case since President Trump first punted the issue of DACA to the U.S. Congress, leaving legislators to come up with a solution to the DACA and immigration problems.

Nothing is getting done because it appears that middle ground on this issue does not exist.

Rep. Deutch is taking issue with the fact that since President Trump took office in 2016, the U.S. has drastically restricted the number of refugees that will be allowed to enter the country every year.

Deutch also blames Americans of “turning” their backs on “tens of thousands” of refugees who he says are “counting on” the U.S. to “honor” its “American values to save their lives.”

All of these refugees have the option to either immigrate to the U.S. or choose another country to do so.

Deutch also tries to put guilt on Americans by stating that refugees are counting on us to “save their lives.”

Again, these immigrants choose to leave their native countries.

Deutch, like all congressional Democrats are up for re-election this year, but unfortunately there isn’t a credible or viable Republican congressional candidate challenging him in this mid-term election cycle.

2017 – 50,000
2018 – 45,000
2019 – 30,000

We are turning our backs on tens of thousands of people who are counting on us to honor our American values to save their lives.

This is not who we are.
