Former NHL Forward Tim Brent Viciously Dogpiled for Hunting Bear

Congratulations to retired Canadian hockey player Tim Brent on a successful hunt:

Good thing a hunter came across this beast and not hikers or campers, who might have been mauled or killed.

Moonbats are not interested in sharing Brent’s jubilation. Fundamental to the progressive viewpoint is what you might call reflexive treason. If there is an “us” and a “them,” liberals will side with “them” as instinctively as John Kerry siding with Vietnamese communists and Iran’s terrorist regime against his own country. This explains the revolting spectacle of white people denouncing “white privilege” on behalf of less successful racial groups.

Another common symptom of progressivism is a chilling inability to recognize a moral difference between humans and animals.

Due to the defects noted above, in a contest between a wild beast and a human being, moonbats will take the animal’s side, with a characteristic combination of viciousness and grotesquely inappropriate self-righteousness.

Brent was blasted on Twitter by a hornet swarm of insults, threats, and bloodthirsty hopes that he gets killed by a bear. Never mind that hunting licenses are controlled so as neither to threaten the grizzly bear population nor to let it get out of hand. Moonbats reacted as if he had shot the last one earth.
