Saying That Boys Will Be Boys Is a Thought Crime

In their impatience to impose utopia, social engineers have gone beyond striking forbidden words from the Newspeak Dictionary. Now they are eliminating whole phrases, including “boys will be boys”:

A new University of Michigan study urges preschool teachers to avoid saying “they’re just boys being boys” or to remind girls to have “good manners,” lest those teachers accidentally “contribute to gender inequality in early childhood.”

Boys and girls behave differently because they are different. However, this indisputable biological fact is regarded as heresy by the warped ideologues dominating fields such as sociology and education.

According to liberal dogma, males and females are exactly the same, except that males are sexist and bad, just as whites and blacks are exactly the same, except that whites are racist and bad.

The obvious differences between boys and girls must be an illusion, because it would be offensive to believe your own lying eyes rather than progressive theory. To explore the root causes of this illusion, Heidi Gansen was paid over $23,000 in research grants to hang out in preschools and collect evidence of thought crimes, which she presents in her study, “Push-Ups Versus Clean-Up: Preschool Teachers’ Gendered Beliefs, Expectations for Behavior, and Disciplinary Practices.”

Her study blames the perceived differences in behavior on inequity caused by teachers who “reify gendered practices” and “hegemonic gender ideologies.” A flagrant example is a teacher she denounces for expressing the sentiment that boys will be boys.

The objective of depraved B.S. like Heidi’s paper is to reengineer children and consequently adults to be more to liberals’ liking — i.e., to be freakishly unnatural:

“Perhaps if we change preschool teachers’ gendered expectations for boys’ and girls’ behaviors this will spark a change… and better allow for the possibility of children’s individual identities to be shaped differently,” urges Gansen.

The “gendered expectations” she has in mind are likely to turn a normal person’s stomach, considering that she has already received an award from the American Sociological Association for waging war against heteronormativity in preschools.
