Washington Post Blames Trump for Hurricane Florence

Trump has done it now. He is complicit in bringing about the hurricane bearing down on the East Coast. Yes, I know it sounds like something only a gibbering lunatic would say. Yet it must be true; I read it in a major pillar of the establishment media, the Washington Post. Actual WaPo headline:

Another hurricane is about to batter our coast. Trump is complicit.

Most understand how Trump could be to blame for the record low black unemployment (which is a problem because it might erode Democrat support); he has been rolling back regulations. Turns out that is also what causes hurricanes. As WaPo fumes:

Trump is complicit. He plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks.

The hurricane promises to be a doozy because the ocean water is warm. What made the water warm? Some might say the summer sun, but true believers have faith that capitalism did it. Trump has been facilitating capitalism by helping to get Big Government’s boot off the neck (to use an Obamunist term) of the economy.

Deniers might object that there have always been hurricanes, even before Trump. The worst of them occurred long ago, like the one that wrecked Galveston in 1900.

But note that the president in 1900 was William McKinley, a Republican and such an odious Dead White Male that Obama renamed Mount McKinley to Mount Denali. Could Obama have done this to punish McKinley for causing the hurricane?

Speaking of the Moonbat Messiah, despite steadily rising levels of the carbon dioxide said to cause global warming, the longest hurricane drought in recorded history occurred from 2006 to 2015, during which span no named hurricanes hit the USA. Who was president during most of that time? Obama was. Nice work, Barry!

Since its readers are willing to believe anything or they would not still be reading at this point, WaPo stretches credulity even further with the suggestion that by helping to cause global warming, Donald Trump “may be slowing the wind currents that guide hurricanes.” This causes them to “linger longer over disaster zones,” like Harvey over Houston — which occurred during the Trump administration.

“Florence may behave similarly,” WaPo intones ominously.

The liberal faithful will know who to blame if it does.
