Church Takes Down Cross to Avoid Offending Muslims

Expansionist Islam licks its chops as self-hating Western moonbats embrace the last humiliating extremes of dhimmitude. In Edmonton, the Millbourne Alliance Church is now known as the Millbourne Community Life Centre, “a church that reinvented itself as a neighbourhood meeting space.” There used to be a 6-foot cross on the wall. No longer. The media is delighted:

To see the centre take down such a significant religious symbol to ensure Muslim and Sikh neighbours feel welcome is a beautiful gesture.

In what sick world could a gesture of abject surrender of Christianity to its polar opposite Islam be beautiful?

Now: when will the local mosque put its Qur’ans away (since they deny the crucifixion, divinity, and redemption of Christ) in order to avoid offending Christians?

Never, of course. This isn’t about open-mindedness and tolerance. Islam — embraced and enabled by moonbats — is the farthest you can get from open-minded and tolerant. This is about erading manifestations of Western Civilization.

Meanwhile, Justin Trudeau has signed onto the civilizational suicide pact known as the United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration, ignoring the opposition of Canadian citizens and opening the floodgates farther still to Islamic colonization.

Taking crosses down won’t be enough; they had better start building minarets.
