CNN Appalls Again on New Year’s Eve

No doubt you had better things to do on New Year’s Eve than watch CNN. Here is what you missed:

CNN investigative reporter Randi Kaye … offered a live demonstration on how to chug an entire bottle of champagne through a bong made out of a snorkel, using a crew member from the yacht she was on as the subject. […Then] she too drank from the snorkel bong.

Live. On air.

This may be an improvement from last New Year’s Eve, which Kaye spent on a Colorado party bus full of pot heads.

Meanwhile, at Times Square, homosexual coanchors Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen took hourly shots of tequila.

The tequila was too much for Cooper, who is probably more the white wine spritzer type:

At least Kathy Griffin wasn’t there to drop the F-bomb and simulate oral sex, as at a past CNN New Year’s Eve.

NBC’s coverage also failed last night. They missed the ball drop and part of the countdown. Shortly before midnight, Chrissy Teigen discussed vagina steaming.

If only their coverage of the news was any better.
