You might have thought that after Dianne Feinstein’s disgraceful role in the attempted Brett Kavanaugh railroading, she would be too thoroughly discredited to pose a continuing serious threat to our constitutional liberties. But nothing discredits a Democrat these days. She wasted little time exploiting the New Zealand mosque shootings to launch yet another attack on the Second Amendment:
Hours after New Zealand announced prohibitions against semiautomatic rifles and shotguns, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) tweeted the U.S. needs to follow the gun ban example.
Feinstein spewed various statistics intended to create the impression that there is an epidemic of mass shootings in the USA. Needless to say,
Feinstein did not point out that the schools which have witnessed shootings have been gun-free zones and the Democrats have been unwilling to change that. …
In fact, the Crime Prevention Research Center shows that 97.8 percent of mass shootings in U.S. from 1950 through May 2018 occurred in gun-free zones.
Feinstein has no interest in ridding us of dangerous gun-free zones. Rather, she aspires to reduce the entire country to a gun-free zone, rendering law-abiding citizens defenseless.
The personal safety of Americans is no concern of Dianne Feinstein; otherwise she would not have expressed a desire for a straightforward confiscation of all firearms in private hands — a power grab so intolerably tyrannical that it would likely set off a second Civil War with massive casualties.
