How bad will it get? is a harder question to answer. Certainly we’re seeing horrors upon horrors in countries like Venezuela – where they’re drinking sewer water, eating rats, pets, and garbage. Zoo animals have long-ago made the transition from caged to sliced-and-diced. Medicines are gone, power is intermittent at best. Women, even former professionals like doctors and engineers and teachers, are now in the oldest profession – seeking to make ends meet financially by making ends meet literally.

Social cohesiveness, and fundamental ethics and morality, will be a big factor in this. Right now, the Left is doing its level best to sunder America into different interest groups – divide and conquer – and I truly doubt, given the corruption of society in general, plus the imposed diversity from the Elites importing a new, more compliant (and definitely less civilized) voting population, that people will be as orderly as they were in the Great Depression.

Somehow I do not see such disciplined, patient queuing happening these days. After all, if modern people will do this over a TV, what will they do when the food runs out?
