So the mechanism fueling Islam (and all other cults) is hypnosis and brainwashing, and hypnosis is the change in brain wave patterns (suppression of beta waves) that allow critical thought to be suppressed long enough for messages and images to be implanted in the subconscious mind, where there is no discriminating thought to question them.
