BET Founder Robert Johnson: Dems Too Far Left

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

BET is not exactly a bastion of conservative culture and thought. Unsurprisingly, its founder Robert Johnson is a longtime Democrat donor. When the radicalized Democrat Party loses Johnson, you know it is going off the rails:

“The party in my opinion, for me personally, has moved too far to the left,” Johnson, the founder of cable network BET and RLJ Companies business network, told CNBC’s Hadley Gamble Tuesday.

Johnson isn’t supporting any of the myriad godawful candidates the Dems are running against Trump. He wisely notes that whoever wins the nomination will have to move to the center quickly to compete. At this point, it looks like the Democrats have conceded the center — and even some real estate to the left of it.

You have to be in Karl Marx territory not to recognize that the economy has faired dramatically better under Trump than under Obama.

“I think the economy is doing great, and it’s reaching populations that heretofore had very bad problems in terms of jobs and employments and the opportunities that come with employment … so African-American unemployment is at its lowest level,” Johnson said. …

“I give the president a lot of credit for moving the economy in a positive direction that’s benefiting a large amount of Americans,” he said.

The Democrats have made it clear that if given the opportunity they will deliberately reverse this economic progress, on the absurdist grounds that growing prosperity “doesn’t work for everyone.”

Says Johnson,

“At the end of the day, the American people are looking for someone who can deliver economically and deliver on opportunities.”

That sounds a lot more like Trump than like any of his Democrat rivals.

No wonder Democrats are so keen on importing the entire Third World across the undefended border. They are running out of Americans who will vote for them.

On a tip from Varla.
