Zombie Apocalypse at Garden Grove Walmart

The zombie apocalypse that some have prepared for is underway on the Left Coast. The hordes of living dead consist mainly of deranged and dysfunctional drug-addled degenerates. In saner times, they would have been locked away in mental institutions for the sake of public safety. Nowadays, they are invited by liberal policies to congregate in large masses. In Garden Grove, a suburb 30 minutes southeast of Los Angeles, they have taken over a Walmart parking lot.

Neighbors say a homeless camp has popped up in the parking lot leading to vandalism and harassment, and they say Walmart will not ask them to leave.

Walmart sends crews out to pick up the trash, but chasing the bums off their property would be politically incorrect and therefore invite bad press from the liberal media. No doubt Democrat presidential candidates would seize on it as a reason to nationalize Walmart.

“There’s just a lot of homeless, a lot, asking for money,” said one shopper who was there with a child. “I don’t come after it’s dark.”

What about the police?

“[Respectable citizens] say, ‘Can’t you just arrest them?’ But it doesn’t work that way,” Brian Meers, a Garden Grove police officer assigned to the homelessness problem, said. “Most of the violations in the state are misdemeanor crimes now and they get out in six hours, and the reality of it is that they’re going to go right back to doing what they were doing before.”

Being a public menace is only a law enforcement issue to the extent that it is against the law.

Fortunately, Walmart delivers, as does Amazon. Eventually, all retail sales will be on a home delivery basis, as people become ever more unwilling to leave their homes to venture out into a world that is degenerating into postapocalyptic horror movie.

The Garden Grove parking lot is only a microcosm. This epidemic is transforming whole cities. With the economy surging and unemployment at historic lows, the crisis can only be attributed to moonbattery.
