The left flocks to areas where there’s money in attempt to implement their ideal version(s) of socialism (which doesn’t work) in order to turn those states blue and keep Democrats in power. A socialist paradise cannot be created from nothing, it has to feed off of an already prosperous nation or state. Democrats pretend to be for the poor, but they instead KEEP you poor as you keep voting for them! It’s not just Commiefornia, but Porkland, OR and Seattle that are suffering similar problems that are getting worse.

This is one reason I left the Bay Area in 2005. I could see the slide into third world status even then. My main concern was the real estate collapse that was going to start within a few years, and then I wouldn’t have been able to sell my home for anywhere near what I made in 2005. People who have delayed until now don’t have a lot of time left before the inevitable real estate collapse sets in again and they are trapped with a home they can’t sell or a mortgage they can’t pay.

There was an episode of Star trek DS9 called Past Tense, they travel back to 2024 to the Bell riots inside one of the Sanctuary Districts in San Francisco, where they toss all the undesirables in society. Sacramento is using convicted people through their Sherifs work projects to pick up needles in bum camps . They don’t even hire people with the proper equipment to do it , they just make people who have been convicted whether innocent or guilty to pick up needles . Many of these people are being put in harms way and and ordered to do so at the expense of possibly stepping on a needle or coming in contact with a deadly disease .
