Now that whites have turned over the country they created, there is no more racism in South Africa. Everyone lives together as brothers and sisters. Except that they had better not be white people. Or foreigners.

Foreign-owned shops were targeted in Soweto as some residents went on a looting spree on Wednesday evening.

By late night, reports of looting were still coming in.

Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele confirmed the incidents in Zola, Emdeni, Moletsane, White City, Zondi and Rockville.

Oddly, despite the obsession the Western media had with South Africa before the fall of Apartheid, items like this never seem to qualify as international news.
