Bon Air Fire Company Caves to Thought Police

Brace yourself for an appalling update on the story of the fire company that was shut down because it refused to accept the forced resignation of Bruce McClay, Jr, a firefighter who had socialized with the Proud Boys. The Bon Air Fire Company in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania has abandoned its principled stand; it has caved in to the thought police in the most shameful manner conceivable.

The company has been reinstated, but the price was way too high. In addition to throwing McClay to the sharks,

The fire company will reshape its leadership board — which had defended volunteer Bruce McClay Jr. for weeks — institute sensitivity training, and revise its bylaws, Haverford Board of Commissioners President Andy Lewis said Monday evening.

Sensitivity training is a degrading form of brainwashing by which victims are indoctrinated to hate themselves for their alleged white straight male privilege in the name of Cultural Marxism.

The statement further noted Bon Air would revise its current antidiscrimination policies so “that volunteers who engage in hate speech or join hate groups are not welcome in the Bon Air Fire Company.”

What exactly have the Proud Boys done to make them so horrible that even to have socialized with these people makes you unfit to put out fires? Nothing much. Their worst sin, other than a few scuffles with Antifa thugs, is that they have been denounced by the ultraleft ADL for the usual laundry list of vague -isms and -phobias. This apparently constitutes their only specific crime:

Members were present at the “Unite the Right” white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017.

This so-called “white supremacist” rally drew some unsavory people from both sides of the divide, but it was primarily a protest against the removal of a statue of Robert E. Lee. It is now considered beyond the pale to push back against the radical left’s War on History.

If they can demonize the Proud Boys to this outlandish extent, they can and will do the same to the NRA. Note that McClay never even joined the Proud Boys. With a few years, just having a beer with NRA members may cost you your job. Then they will go after registered Republicans and those suspected of being on friendly terms with them.
