Hanoi Jane Gets Herself Arrested

To be born into Tinseltown royalty is to never have to grow up. If Hanoi Jane Fonda still hasn’t grown up at age 81, it is safe to say she never will. Friday she deliberately got herself arrested by blocking the steps to the US Capitol on behalf of the climate.

Since helping communists to defeat the USA on the battlefield is not currently an option, she campaigns against our standard of living — which generally is already much lower than her own.

No doubt she hopes the Al Sharpton–style stunt will remind people that she is still alive. That would explain why Netflix explicitly gave her time off to indulge in juvenile activism. But then, both Hanoi Jane and the people running Netflix are such committed moonbats that they may actually believe her posturing will help to save the planet from humanity.

Hanoi Jane says she was inspired by the conspicuously delusional autistic teenager Greta Thunberg to move to DC for a few months so that she could devote herself to political exhibitionism. Children don’t learn from elders in the world of ultramoonbats; it’s the other way around.

She was particularly inspired by Greta being so upset about the climate continuing to fluctuate like it always has that she allegedly stopped speaking for a year. If only Hanoi Jane would follow her example and shut up for a while.

When asked by a reporter what compelled her and others to take that extra step to go up onto the steps and be arrested, she said: “Well, because it brings people like you here. It attracts media.”

No duh, as kids used to say. But at least she admits this is a theatrical production devoted to promoting her latest lunatic cause and/or her career.

More honesty from Hanoi Jane:

“[T]here’s gonna be more and more and more of these direct actions and civil disobedience, non-violent disobedience. If necessary, we’re gonna have to be able to bring things to a halt.”

Bringing civilization to a halt is what the global warming hoax is all about. If leftists succeed, the suffering will be almost unimaginable. But when the smoke clears, maybe they will be able to impose utopia on those who survive the starvation that would result from the Green New Deal.
