Profiles in Countermoonbattery: Jakub Baryła

Poland has saved Western civilization before, when King John III Sobieski stopped Islam at the Gates of Vienna in 1683. It may come to the rescue again by standing against moonbattery while other countries succumb. If anything worthy of the name “civilization” survives in Europe, future centuries may remember 15-year-old Jakub Baryła alongside Sobieski — provided people have not forgotten him already.

From last August:

Jakub Baryła, who describes himself as “Catholic, traditionalist, conservative and patriotic” on Twitter, has become a social media sensation after standing in the path of a 1,000-strong LGBT equality march in the city of Płock on Saturday.

“Equality” in the LGBT context means “supremacy.”

Baryła, who is a councilor at Płock Youth Council, said that he decided to block the march with a crucifix after he was inspired by “a similar gesture by Fr. Ignacy Skorupko during the Warsaw battle with the Bolsheviks in 1920.”

Father Skorupko was a Polish army chaplain who was killed on Aug. 14, 1920, at the Battle of Ossów during the Polish counter-attack.

He made up his mind to act when he saw an icon of Our Lady of Częstochowa desecrated with a rainbow halo signifying sexual depravity.

It’s nice to know that they still make heroes. Who knows? This could be a turning point.
