Radical Chesa Boudin Elected San Francisco District Attorney

It would be nice to think that moonbattery can only be pushed too far before it triggers a backlash, like a pendulum that has swung so far in one direction that surely must swing back in the other. But it doesn’t work that way in San Francisco, where no matter how crazy things get, progressives find a way to progress still further. Chesa Boudin is the son of Kathy Boudin, a Weather Underground terrorist who was convicted of murder and is now unsurprisingly a professor at Columbia University. Ideologically, Chesa follows in his mother’s footsteps. He has just been elected San Francisco District Attorney.

The SF Comical refers to his “campaign promising to confront mass incarceration and racial disparities in the criminal justice system, while vowing to hold police more accountable in cases of brutality.”

To translate, this means more criminals loose on the streets, explicit discrimination against Caucasians, and handcuffed police.

Due to moonbattery imposed by leftist pols, San Francisco already has the highest rate of property crime of the 20 largest US cities. No other city is likely to catch up to it now.

Chesa Boudin’s radical bona fides are impeccable. He worked for Hugo Chavez, the socialist dictator who destroyed Venezuela, before settling in San Francisco. His father is David Gilbert, another Weather Underground maniac. Gilbert is fortunately still in prison.

Chesa was 14 when his parents were arrested. He was raised by two other Weather Underground terrorists, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, who launched the political career of Barack Obama from their home.

All of these moonbats must be proud of Chesa. At his election party, the crowd chanted “F*** POA” (POA = Police Officers Association):

San Francisco has literally put the bad guys in charge of law enforcement. Harry Callahan couldn’t clean up the mess moonbattery has made of this once-great city.
