I commented as follows today on FOX coverage of the Senate trial: As a voter of 50 years, one who has voted for progressive candidates if I could identify one, and who has not shared a Repub world view (never once voting R), I have seen from the beginning of this (indeed, from the outset of the 2016 election( that the Dem Party at he top (and the DNC) has been totally corrupted and is a Deep State/CIA owned entity. Thus, I have followed this attempted coup aganst elected Pres Trump from the start. I believe that every Dem elected to the House and Senate knows that this is a crock. That there is no opposition to it on the merits tells me all I need to know,

Therefore, I will not be voting for ANY Dem on ANY level in 2020. And I believe that 2020 will spell the end to the Dem Party. It cannot die soon enough for me. I still do not share most of the domestic policy positions of the Repub Party, and I do not believe it has moved far enough away from US imperialist positions. But, I will argue those points again when there are democratic elections without coup attempts following them, with shivving of progressive or conservative candidates by their parties or by the other party.

I expect in 2020 to be voting for Pres Trump and JFK, Jr, voting a straight ticket for Repubs, voting Repub for the first time in my life. Ehret was said to have walked from a lecture where he told people how bad they smelled from what they were eating, slipped on a discarded banana peel and fell head first into the metal edge of a curb and probably died instantly.
