Economic Terrorism: Mayor ‘Red Bill’ De Blasio Orders NYC Restaurants, Bars, Nightlife Shutdown

Broadway theaters have gone dark now this. This is economic terrorism by the left, all to the destroy Trump’s economy. And they have to act quickly because this whole panic is a terrible sham. Red Bill de Blasio has closed NYC schools starting tomorrow Monday and stay shut until at least April 20. “We may actually have to go out for the whole school year” he said. I suspect they would like to keep this insanity going until November.

I know several small owners who have had to lay off their entire staff. You’re not going read those stories. Companies with 50 or less employees don’t register on the media landscape.

And yet, over 99 percent of America’s 28.7 million firms are small businesses. The vast majority (88 percent) of employer firms have fewer than 20 employees, and nearly 40 percent of all enterprises have under $100k in revenue. 20 percent of small businesses are employer businesses and 80 percent are nonemployer businesses.

The media is promoting, cheering the shutdown – So you never going to hear about the hardships it’s causing.

My take: When people look at how the Democrat fearmongers wiped out their retirement accounts, their savings, their pension funds – it will sober them up to this bloody farce.

The Democrats are killing Trump’s economy and putting small business out of business and their employees out of work. That’s the plan.

If the rate of #CoronaVirus is actually much higher in the US than reported (the main argument for more testing), then the death rate (the real risk worried about) is also much lower. Media often misleading folks into thinking the death rate stays constant.

De Blasio orders restaurants, bars go ‘take-out’ only, nightlife shutdown

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced late Sunday that the Big Apple’s nightlife will shut down and its restaurants and bars will only provide take-out or delivery service as authorities struggle to get ahead of the mounting coronavirus pandemic.

The restrictions will take effect Tuesday at 9 a.m. and are similar to measures announced in Ohio, Washington DC and across much of western Europe, all of which have been hit by the deadly virus, too.

“Our lives are all changing in ways that were unimaginable just a week ago,” de Blasio said in a statement released by City Hall, which acknowledged the step was “drastic.”

“We are taking a series of actions that we never would have taken otherwise in an effort to save the lives of loves ones and our neighbors.”

De Blasio came under intense criticism for only moving Sunday to close the city’s public schools in the face of the outbreak, a decision that came days after other major American cities shut theirs down.

Hizzoner said the action is authorized under an executive order.

The restrictions mean that bars, cafes and restaurants must close their dining rooms and will only be able to serve take-out customers or fill delivery orders.

Additionally, de Blasio is ordering that nightclubs, movie theaters, concert venues and playhouses not shuttered when authorities ordered the lights out on Broadway be closed down too.

“This virus can spread rapidly through the close interactions New Yorkers have in restaurants bars and places where we sit close together,” de Blasio’s statement said. “We have to break that cycle.”
