1963: "He's so fine" was the #1 song this week and later ended up in a fight with George Harrison

Another song released before I was listening to Top 40 radio. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorites.

“He’s so fine” was the #1 song in the world on this day in 1963, or 50-something years ago. It was another example of the “girl groups” of the 60′s!

“He’s so fine” came back to life in the 1970s when George Harrison released “My sweet Lord”, or his first solo single. He was eventually found guilty of “subconscious” plagiarism“.

Frankly, I never heard the similarity between the two songs. Nevertheless, George had to pay $ 1,500,000 to the publisher.
