Police-Abolishing Minneapolis City Council Spends Big on Private Security

They don’t want to abolish all police. Just our police. The radical leftists who have been taking control will leave us at the mercy of the vicious, anarchic mob they are riding to power. For example, Minneapolis City Council reacted to massive rioting and looting by resolving to abolish the police. Meanwhile:

The City of Minneapolis is spending $4,500 a day for private security for three council members who have received threats following the police killing of George Floyd, FOX 9 has learned.

Guess who picks up the tab?

A city spokesperson said the private security details have cost taxpayers $63,000 over the past three weeks.

Yet the municipal government does not fulfil any government’s most basic duty: providing public order. If the mob wants to loot and burn your business, it is allowed to do so. Since the government does not attempt to provide public safety in return for the money, it is not taxing its citizens but robbing from them.

The three council members who have the security detail – Andrea Jenkins (Ward 8), and Phillipe Cunningham (Ward 4), and Alondra Cano (Ward 9)– have been outspoken proponents of defunding the Minneapolis Police Department.

Defunding the police will free up more public money for their own personal police while the city continues to deteriorate into Somalia.

Councilkook Cunningham says she does not “feel comfortable” discussing her security arrangements. Andrea Jenkins says he needs special security because of “the large number of white nationalist(s) in our city.” He is referring to Minneapolis, which would not elect people like him if it were not overwhelmingly left-wing.

A spokesperson for Minneapolis Police told FOX 9 the department does not have any recent police reports of threats against city council members.

But maybe the reports were filed confidentially. Besides, you can’t believe the police, because they are racist. They may be in league with the white nationalists.

Jenkins said the threats have attacked [his] ethnicity, gender identity, and sexuality.

In addition to being a Person of Politically Preferred Pigmentation, Jenkins is a transvestite, whom we have encountered previously.
