Police Refuse to Provide Additional Security for Democrat Convention

As suggested by the National Association of Police Organizations endorsing Trump, there are limits to how much abuse you can heap on law enforcement officers and expect them to like it. The Democrat Party has supported Black Lives Matter radicals in their calls to defund and abolish police, so that the streets might be ruled by the “mostly peaceful” thugs out there throwing rocks at officers. Dem politicians could get a slight taste of what this means for the little people they have subjected to skyrocketing crime.

[A] little less than three weeks away from the Democratic National Convention, which is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, more than 100 law enforcement agencies have pulled out of their agreement to provide additional security for the event.

It isn’t just sour grapes over Democrat demagogues’ unconscionable treatment of police. As in Seattle, liberal authorities refuse to let the police do their job.

Just last week the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission ordered Police Chief Alfonso Morales to revise the department’s policies, one of which included eliminating the use of pepper spray and tear gas to disperse large crowds and riots.

That puts the police at the mercy of Black Lives Matter/Antifa “protesters,” since the use of live ammo or better still napalm unfortunately appears to be out of the question.

Political violence could be an issue in Milwaukee, considering that Trump supporter Bernell Trammell was apparently executed for his political views in broad daylight last Thursday.

Why would police departments want to knowingly send their officers into harm’s way without every tool at their disposal? Why would police departments and other law enforcement agencies want to guard and protect the very individuals that are trying to abolish their profession?

Actually, the radical leftists calling the shots in the Democrat Party don’t really want to abolish the police, but rather replace them. You can’t impose Marxism without armed thugs. American police are not armed thugs; overwhelmingly, they are decent people serving their local communities. That’s why we need “a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the entire US military, to quote Barack Obama, who may be helping to pull Biden’s strings in the White House soon.
