Myth-Busting At Widener's: Guns & Locks

Via Jacob Long Hi Brock, I just wanted to check-in with you to see how 2021 is going so far. I can see you’ve been busy, I was just reading your post “I Listen”  about southern writers and it reminded me of this quote by William Faulkner:”If a story is in you, it has to come out.” 

We’re still working hard to keep a little bit of ammunition on the shelves at the warehouse, hopefully, you are stocked up. For those asking, we are getting in new shipments weekly, so if you’re looking for anything specific, let me know and I’ll keep an eye out. I’m staying optimistic that things in the industry will get back to normal sooner, rather than later. 

Anyway, we’ve been having some fun recently at the gun range. We’ve all seen a movie, or TV show, where the bad guy shoots a padlock off to make his escape. We were curious ourselves, so we set out to prove or bust the myth that shooting a padlock will cause the lock to fail. I added the link below if you, or your audience is curious to see if we busted this myth, or just ruined a bunch of padlocks.
