Biden May Use Private Firms to Spy on Dissidents

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Moonbats used to shriek hysterically that private contractors like Blackwater oppressed terrorists in hellholes on the other side of the world. What they should have been doing is oppressing patriots within our own borders. Then the moonbats would approve:

The Biden administration is reportedly considering contracting outside firms to track “extremist” chatter online in order to circumvent legal restrictions on the surveillance power of federal agencies like the Department of Homeland Security.

In the Obama days, these restrictions were circumvented by ignoring them and lying about it afterward. What Biden’s handlers have in mind must be too big for that to work.

The DHS is limited in its ability to surveil Americans on social media sites without strong justification and is prohibited from using false identities to get access to private messaging apps used by groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers…

Black Lives Matter and Antifa have inflicted hundreds of riots on this country over the past year, causing $billions in damage. The federal government ignores them and spies on harmless patriot groups. The bad guys are in charge.

Working with these companies would allow the DHS to better analyze trends and provide more real-time information for its use and for the FBI, which also is unable to surveil US citizens without first getting a warrant or proving some overarching justification like a previous investigation.

After the FBI is through morphing into the Gestapo, its hands won’t be tied. For now, Democrats require cat’s paws that are not officially part of the government. See the reference to Black Lives Matter/Antifa above.

On a tip from Henry.
