The Terms were similarly updated in the United States in November 2020. These changes shouldn’t significantly alter your access or use of the YouTube service.

YouTube’s right to monetize: YouTube has the right to monetize all content on the platform and ads may appear on videos from channels not in the YouTube Partner Program.

YouTube demonetized my channel years ago based on their ideology. I did not care since I did not want to make money on my efforts to organize the resistance. But even that is not good enough for Google: they are going to put advertisements on my videos for their own profit. Evil never rests.
