Meet Rebekah Jones the self-professed “Whistleblower,” but was only out for herself. Many people in life label themselves as victims, we all know someone like that, but this woman tried it in the limelight as was caught.

She was hired to run the website for the GIS dashboard a Covid-19 reporting site for the Florida Department of Health. She claimed she was fired for refusing to input what she claimed to be false death figures due to Covid-19. Actually the exact opposite was true because her job was to only input data, and she never has access to the raw data. She was merely the webpage administrator to insert data directly from the Florida Department of Health. She was one of two administrators of the site, the other being her direct boss Craig Curry. Early on she started to talk to the press about Covid numbers, which was in direct violation to Curry had told her earlier.

Curry looked for instructions from HR as to how to handle her and her clearly insubordinate actions. Not only was she talking to the press, she was accessing personnel data records that she had no business having. HR recommended “Management Counseling” after a sharp reprimand. Documentations of violations were being made and Curry was instructed to now replace Jones as the main administrator on the website.

Jones retaliated by locking Curry out of the system entirely! When Curry’s direct boss instructed her to reinstate him, she waited about 8 hours before reinstalling him but to only a subservient position to her.

FDOH gave her more than enough chances to act like a team player, but she was having none of it, and subsequently was fired for insubordination, not because in her words DeSantis’s gestapo forced her out.

She started multiple GoFundMe sites for herself and raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars.

She even had the nerve to make her own website of the Covid Dashboard, which mirrors the FDOH’s exactly!

This is what a con woman looks like, I hope that the State of Florida finds a way too charge her with something!
