Consider This…

The above picture was taken inside the port-a-potty on my house construction site. This is what real America feels.

Consider:

1. Half of our gas stations in Murphy, NC do not have gas. Time frame: two weeks and counting.
2. Our new and used car dealerships have about 15% of their usual inventory. Time frame: four weeks and counting.
3. Price of a 2×4: $8 – $10 dollars.
4. House insulation for R38: allocated
5. Plumbing pipe: not available. And yes, this means plumbers have no way to complete jobs or pay their bills.
6. Restaurants are operating at half staff. Time frame: several months.
7. Windows for new construction: allocated.
8. Big box home improvement stores will not honor their own estimates: you have to buy on the spot in order to lock in the price.

The housing market has collapsed. The narrative concerning the pandemic has collapsed. The security of the country has collapsed. The rule of law has collapsed. And the federal government is in its death throes as the United States has been turned into a sh_thole third world nation.
