Leftist Radicals From Abroad Finance Democratic Party

Democrats are the Party of Government. Consequently, they are the Party of Money, because the coercion that the party stands for can be used for ends that those with deep pockets find valuable. That’s why the ultrarich are almost always Democrats, despite phony Tax the Rich rhetoric. For example, Richest Man in America Jeff Bezos just gave $100 million to the Obama Foundation. Money pours in from places where decadent elitists have more than they know what to do with, like Silicon Valley and Hollywood. This finances the imposition of the leftist values of the donors. Other money has darker sources.

Daniel Greenfield reports on the Sixteen Thirty Fund, which pumped $410 million into the 2020 election on behalf of Democrats. Three major backers of this fund are radicals from abroad — Hansjörg Wyss, George Soros, and Pierre Omidyar:

Pierre Omidyar, an Iranian immigrant, currently the richest man in Hawaii, is a Big Tech billionaire born to wealthy foreign students in Paris, who brought him here as a child. His mother, a Berkeley academic, heads a pro-Iran group financed by her son’s fortune. …

Omidyar finances both Black Lives Matter and Never Trumpers. The eBay billionaire is the hidden hand behind the fake “Facebook whistleblower” advocating censoring conservatives. He has a project to “reimagine capitalism” while funding The Intercept which openly touts Marxism.

Yet Omidyar may be the least sinister of the three.

The two old men of the group, Soros and Wyss, have been accused of paving their path to wealth through horrifying crimes, whether it was Soros’ participation in the seizure of Jewish properties in Hungary, or the illegal medical experimentation on patients that sent multiple executives of the company that serves as the source of Wyss’ wealth to prison.

The current explosion of violence on American streets was largely produced by Soros. This convicted felon has used his vast ill-gotten fortunes to install leftist chief prosecutors like Kim Foxx, Kim Gardner, Chesa Boudin, Larry Krasner, and George Gascon, who aggressively side with criminals against the police and the law-abiding.

Democrats aren’t kidding when they bark about transforming America. To understand what they are transforming it into, we need to know more about who is paying the piper and calling the tune.

This helps explain why Democrats have reacted to cratering poll numbers and their big setback in Virginia not by tacking to the center, but by doubling down on the radicalism that has been alienating the public. Democrats don’t represent us; they represent their financiers. Their attempts to federalize control of elections are intended to render voters irrelevant.
