A dry cold front will cross the region this evening with little fanfare, before high pressure returns to the area Monday. Potentially active weather will not return until Saturday night, when slightly better moisture ahead of a cold front may allow for light rain in the mountains.

THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride
THE POLAR EXPRESS™ with the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is back in 2021! The 1¼ hour round-trip passenger excursion comes to life as the train departs the Bryson City depot for a journey through the quiet wilderness for a special visit at the North Pole.
