WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to President Biden’s 2022 State of the Union address, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“Biden offered one solution to the myriad of problems facing America: spend trillions of dollars on the issues and hope it works. This comes as inflation – perpetuated by trillions of dollars in spending – continues to soar. Surprisingly, he boasted that he will not raise taxes on Americans making less than $400,000 per year, while also assuring us that he will cut the deficit in half. As fiscal conservatives ourselves, we look forward to hearing where he will cut spending to make this a reality.”
