We urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to vote NO on H.R. 8294 – Appropriations Minibus.

Yet another in a long line of irresponsible appropriations bills, H.R. 8294 includes approximately $400 billion in discretionary spending, an increase of $50 billion (12%) from the previous fiscal year.

For decades lawmakers have thrown fiscal sanity to the wind, racking up over $30 trillion in national debt.

Washington’s careless spending habits are wreaking havoc on American families. Inflation has hit yet another 40-year high, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reaching 9.1% in June.

This package continues the tradition of runaway government spending while at the same time rejecting any common sense reforms.

FreedomWorks will count the vote for H.R. 8294 – Appropriations Minibus on our 2022 Congressional Scorecard and reserves the right to score any amendments, motions, or other related votes.
