The very specific Biblical prophesy that “lawlessness will increase” has now gone from the abstract to the biggest understatement of all time. And from a long-term perspective, it seemed to happen overnight. Those Sheriffs, who are not – individually – part of the problem may be a partial solution. But, ultimately, it may have to be a higher power that intervenes with an iron rod. While that seems abstract, so did the “lawlessness” just two blinks of an eyelid ago.
