Very good info. As someone who grew up in South Africa and later emigrated to Ireland and later to the US, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that you are correct in your assessment. When the cookie finally crumbles a lot of very fine folks are going to freeze in disbelief while their other very fine friends start to do things that they would never have thought possible. It is imperative to get used to living without or with less – just the basics and be as self sufficient as possible. When the chips are down there will be no one coming to your aid and all you’ll have is what you can provide and also what you can protect.

I also believe it’s going to be quite bad, I don’t think movies will truly come close to even a glimpse into how uncivilized we as a species can be. A lot of the stuff we are going to go through can’t really be even shown on social media or tv in our sheltered little bubble. Personally I’m a little desensitized to violence, maybe a lot compared to those around me but I’m sure I will even be shocked.
