Tonight: Mr. Constitution Hour: Aristocrats and Liberty – Our mixed Constitution was designed to establish a balance between democracy and aristocracy, while also ensuring the state legislatures were able to practice oversight over the new federal government in the hopes of denying the central government the opportunity to consolidate all power as would a “national” government. One threat, in addition to the potential rise of domestic tyrants, was foreign influence, so mechanisms were also put in place to diminish America’s connections to the European elitist cabal. Mr. Constitution explains.
