How a Horrific COVID Mask Dispute Led to This Woman’s Death

A female patient, Danielle Stephanie Warriner, died after a confrontation with security guards inside Toronto General Hospital. The core of the dispute? Danielle had dropped her mask to beneath her chin in an effort to recover her breath.

Instead of helping the patient, the hospital security guards confronted her. They can be seen being agressive in the CCTV video before shoving the patient against a hospital wall. At this point in the CCTV video, another hospital security guard manually turns the camera away from the unfolding incident. Then moments later, the camera shows the three security guards walking quickly with the patient in a wheelchair. The patient, Danielle Stephanie Warriner, can clearly be seen not in a seated position but collapsed in the wheelchair, her body limp and unmoving.

Denise Warriner is on a mission to find justice for her sister’s 2020 death. The family has retain Falconers LLP for the upcoming civil lawsuit. The following is from the press release issued by Falconers LLP on behalf of the family.

“Stephanie explained to the security guards that she had left her room to get a sandwich, and that she was struggling to breathe,” alleged Falconers. “The security guards were aware that Stephanie was not only in obvious respiratory distress but was also suffering from mental health issues. “

The situation escalated, according to the allegations which have not been tested in a courtroom.

“Instead of getting Stephanie the medical attention she required, the security guards berated Stephanie, pushed her against the wall and to the ground, and restrained her in the prone position with weight applied to her back,” alleged Falconers. “As a result of this use of force, Stephanie went into cardiac arrest and ultimately died.”
