with A.I., except that workers might get replaced with A.I. and next
announces that jobs in forestry are however safe. Did Clif ever talk
about Bill Joy ?
Bill Joy was “co-founder of Sun Microsystems in 1982 along with Scott
McNealy, and served as Chief Scientist and CTO at the company until
2003.” Joy, creator of the most important editor as used on Unix and
Linux operating systems, vi, by mainly programmers, envisioned some severe
problems for the industry and society in general when going into the
Millennium. After successfully riding through the much anticipated global
computer crash wave called Y2000 bug, on April 1 2000 Wired decided to go
