New York Bestows Oppression Privilege Upon the Obese

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Congratulations to the morbidly obese. New York City has bestowed upon them the most cherished of privileges; they are officially oppressed:

New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed a bill Friday declaring obesity a new legally protected class.

The oppressed are first hired, last fired, and go to the front of the line for goodies passed out by Big Government.

The legislation signed by the New York mayor bars individuals from being discriminated against for their height and weight for access to employment or public housing.

This is great news for white people who don’t like it at the bottom of the caste system, but who have too much self-respect to pretend to be homosexual. Now the racially and sexually incorrect can eat their way up the social ladder.

Airlines aren’t going to like where this is heading. Barks Adams:

“We all deserve the same access to employment, housing, and public accommodations, regardless of our appearance.”

That means protected groups get priority access not only to jobs and housing, but “public accommodations.” Let’s hope LaGuardia will still let planes land that haven’t been redesigned specifically for the Lizzo contingent, in accordance with demands.

The morbidly overweight are not the only beneficiaries. Let’s not forget lawyers:

New York City Republican City Councilman Joseph Borelli warned in April the new law will “empower people to sue anyone and everything.”

Despite the superior status plus-size people have achieved, reality continues to be fatphobic, punishing obesity with susceptibility to all manner of deadly diseases (cancer, heart disease, diabetes, etc.). But that doesn’t matter, because under liberal rule, reality has been canceled.

On tips from Bluto, Blackjack, Mr. Freemarket, and ABC of the ANC.
