With pen in hand our manager laid in front of me the MOU/NDA along with a check for $1,000,000 with my name on it.
I wasn’t even able to finish reading the first page before I put the pen down and said: “This meeting is over. I am not signing this.”
I quit the band two days later and never played with another band until I moved back home in 1988.
