GENERAL OUTLOOK

A warm front will cross the area today, followed by additional a strong cold front that will move through the area Wednesday afternoon and evening. A brief stint of dry weather is expected Thursday before unsettled conditions return Friday and into the weekend.

Franklin Area

Today

Rain likely. Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with highs near 60. Winds out of the south 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of rain is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with lows in the low-to-mid 50s. Winds out of the south 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday

Showers, mainly after noon. Highs in the upper 60s. Winds out of the south 15 to 25 mph in the morning shifting to come out of the west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of rain is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
