Seasonably mild and cloudy weather today. Low pressure tracks across the Southeastern States tonight through Saturday night, bringing more heavy rain and possible strong storms on Saturday. Quiet weather conditions and above normal temperatures will be in store for the early part of next week as dry high pressure settles in.

Today

Showers likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with highs near 59. Light winds out of the east early in the morning increasing to come out of the southeast 5 to 15 mph by midmorning. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of rain is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Showers before 1am, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 4am, then showers after 4am. Lows around 50. Winds out of the southeast 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of rain is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
